Return Policy

At Zinc Door, we sincerely hope you're happy with each and every purchase from our home to yours. If not, we'd love to make things right by returning or exchanging an eligible item quickly and easily.

Return Shipping

Return your item within 30 days of receipt (unless otherwise noted) in its original packaging and condition - just email your return request to shop@zincdoor.com with your order number and the reason for your return and our Customer Relations Department will contact you within 1-2 business days about processing your return.

Refunds are issued in the original payment form and price, not including shipping and handling, re-stocking fees, gift-wrap and return shipping charges. Standard shipping charges will apply for all "free shipped" non-defective items. For specific charges, please go online to see our shipping rate schedule.

For some items, a modified shipping policy applies.

Note: We are currently offering free shipping for orders $200 and more, which is automatically applied at checkout. If for some reason you would like to return an item that had free shipping, the total refunded amount will equal the item price minus a 10% deduction for shipping return costs.

Each product page has a Shipping & Returns tab with information about eligibility.

*Please note returns on eligible rugs, pillows, and mirrors that aren't defective will incur a 25% restocking fee based on the regular price of the item.

Free Shipping Items

Several of our product lines feature free shipping. If for any reason you need to return an item with free shipping, the refund you receive will be for the item price minus the standard shipping cost and restocking fee, if applicable.

Final Sale

Final sale items are not eligible for return or exchange. Standard shipping rates apply.

Holiday Returns

For holiday returns, our special policy on items purchased from November 1st to December 25th will be extended to January 31st of the following calendar year.

*All furniture, custom items, bedding, and personalized items are excluded.

Custom, Personalized and Special Orders

Custom, personalized and special order items are not returnable or refundable. You have up to 1 business day from the order date to cancel a custom order and receive a refund. After 1 business day, custom orders are non-refundable.

Natural wood

Many of our custom furnishings are made from natural wood. Due to the unique nature of this element, no two pieces of wood (even from the same tree) will look exactly alike.

Lead Times and Delivery

Zinc Door is committed to assuring a smooth and prompt delivery of furniture, light fixtures, and mirrors. However, there are circumstances out of our control that could result in delays in production or delivery of your items.

Types of Delivery

Please refer to the product page under the Shipping & Returns tab to see what types of shipping is offered for that particular item. Standard freight delivers to your driveway. Premium in-home delivery is available for most items for shipments placed inside the threshold of your home or in a particular room (up to 2 flights of stairs) with all packing materials discarded. Assembly NOT included.

Receiving the Incorrect Item

If for any reason your custom furniture piece does not arrive with the specifications that you selected when ordering, contact us immediately. At our discretion, we'll replace or reship item(s) at no additional charge.

Damage/Defective Items

Upon receipt, please inspect your items carefully for any damage or defects that may have occurred in transit and contact us immediately. Claims against damaged items must be made within 48 hours of receiving the item. Claims made after 48 hours cannot be accepted. Inspect your delivered item before you sign to ensure there's been no freight damage. If there is, the manufacturer will take care of it at their expense.
